The lighting of Vilnius Balsiai Primary School was designed by Gaudrė specialists together with the team of architect Sigitas Kuncevičius.

At Balsiai School, the lighting is controlled by smart light sensors, so you don't have to worry about lights forgotten to be switched off. The classrooms are equipped with a modern touch-sensitive lighting control system that automatically switches on the right number of lighting fixtures in the event of insufficient light levels to ensure the lighting levels required by hygiene standards.

The 54-square-metre classroom was illuminated by 6 pendant lights, compared to 14 in the past. The lights automatically switch off when people leave the room. A computerised, tiered lighting control system in the corridors also helps save energy.
